![]() Maybe it's just me, but I don't expect all daw's to be this counter intuitive and user unfriendly. I can usually use programs with intuition, but for cubase it's all been a hot mess with lots and lots of googling involved. My point is, to me this program is as user unfriendly as it can be. When I finally found the key I accidentally pressed and deactivate it my project looks a whole lot different than when I started looking for keys, so some things were activate only. Then I accidentally press a key and my whole project changes, looking for the key I pressed to change it back I go through all the keys, making sure to press them twice to activate and deactivate them. I now have it working, and started playing around with recording stuff, creating midi tracks, etc. The first thing I noticed is that I didn't understand anything, even getting sound out of cubase was a tedious task where I needed to google every single tiny thing. Now I have a bit more time and decided I was going to play around with daw's, and since I have a copy of cubase I started with that. Sometime this year I bought an audio interface and got a free copy of Steinberg Cubase with it, I didn't really get to trying it out because I was very busy at the time and only needed the interface.
